Realizing the importance of primary education, the present government is working tirelessly to ensure equal and quality primary education. In order to reduce the ratio of teachers and students, new teachers have been appointed including pre-primary.To make the students health conscious and to create a favorable environment for learning, wash blocks have been constructed along with the installation of tube wells. New classrooms have been constructed to create a conducive environment for teaching. Free books have been distributed to 100% of the students to ensure compulsory primary education. A classroom has been digitized with laptops/multimedia projectors to ensure optimal use of information technology.Apart from this, stipends are being provided through mobile banking to all eligible students under the education support program for successful completion of primary education cycle including dropout prevention. School Level Improvement Plan (SLIP) is being implemented in schools as part of decentralization of school based development planning.
